I have officially failed as a Blogger.
For the past three months, I have been working on an 8 page comic story for the small indie publisher Red Stylo Media and their new anthology "27". It's based on the 27 Club, the artists and musicians who all died at the age of 27. I drew, inked, colored and lettered the whole thing and it was a lot of work with the deadline given. I also created a cover for my story and three gig poster inspired pieces of artwork. We had to have the artwork turned in before the Kickstarter ended...last week!
This was also with my full time job as an Art Director and training for a century bike ride for charity!
I am excited to say that the Kickstarter was successfully funded and all the artwork has been turned in. You can still order your copy over at Red Stylo if interested. It's going to be amazing so check it out.
So now that I've rambled on, below is half of the artwork from the story. If you like what you see, you'll just have to buy the book!
