"Open a Book to find the Road Less Traveled" is the theme of this year's Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators and I'm very excited about my art piece. I've been working in Illustrator a lot lately and I wanted to create an entire piece in vector. My vision for the piece was a young boy, alone in the woods, who is completely lost in his story. I remember growing up and reading story collections that my mom had when she was a young girl. There were collections of adventure stories, space stories, spooky stories, and others great volumns. I hope you enjoy.
The gallery show is November 2 at 7 p.m. at my wife's studio, downtown in the Short North. You can find more info here:

Enjoy.

UPDATE!
Here are a few pics from the gallery exhibit. The night was a great success and my wife's studio was filled the entire time. I got to meet some great creators and especially those who chose my piece to write about. Hopefully soon you should be able to view more pics on the COSCBWI Facebook page.
